Green Pea Pesto
Fresh and easy, this pea pesto comes together while the pasta is still boiling. Frozen peas, basil, parmesan and olive oil blended smooth in MyBlend Compact. A good way to get more greens into dinner without it turning into a project. Light and bright from start to finish.
Ingredients
- 150 ml frozen peas, thawed
- 50 ml fresh basil
- 40 ml grated parmesan
- 40 ml olive oil
- 40 ml pasta water
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ½ garlic clove
- Salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to MyBlend Compact.
- Blend to a creamy pesto.
- Toss with hot pasta and top with extra parmesan if you like.
Tip: Save a cup of pasta water before draining. Add it a little at a time when tossing with the pesto to loosen the sauce and help it coat every strand.
