A tomato sauce is already good. Add a spoonful of crème fraîche and blend it smooth in MyBlend Compact and it becomes something a little softer and rounder. Warm it briefly in the pan and you have dinner in under ten minutes. Simple to make and genuinely satisfying.

Creamy Tomato Basil Sauce

Ingredients

  • 220 ml crushed tomatoes
  • 70 ml crème fraîche
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 20 ml fresh basil
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • 1 tsp honey or sugar
  • Salt and black pepper

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to MyBlend Compact and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a saucepan and warm over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Toss with pasta and serve.
Tip: Keep the heat low when warming the sauce. High heat can make the crème fraîche separate and lose its smooth texture.
